Burn or glow? *MU*

I took this picture with my iPhone 3G, like I do most other pictures. The fire in the fireplace had burned down, and I decided, "Ohhh, this red is pretty..." Instead, the phone decided, "This isn't red, this is PURPLE!" I'm guessing the red was too intense to be registered. This image is NOT edited with a filter, I promise, cause I don't really do photoshop.
