WHat's the context here? Her royal toes cannot touch the ground when they are bare or something so she must use something else?

Quite a good story behind this. Peach looks like she's in one of her early adventures (Mario Bros 2 I think where she can fly) and she's about to stomp a Goomba. She's scared either because she's not used to flying yet, it's her first time fighting her captors, or she doesn't want to stomp on the Goomba with her bare feet. The Goomba is similarly afraid as he's aware of his own individual weakness. While he and his fellow Goomba troops have kidnapped Peach for Bowser many times, they've done so as a group and they are aware of how weak of a fighters they are against Mario and any of Bowser's other minions. Seeing Peach descending from above and screaming her lungs out, the Goomba sinks his head inside his body in an attempt to delay the inevitable. And yet the inevitable is different than he expected. Peach's body weight is light as a feather once her feet reach his head. The slight pressure causes the Goomba to recover his original body. As he realizes who's standing on top of his head, his first thoughts are bringing the princess to Bowser. But those thoughts melt away as those royal feet start rubbing the sides of his head. He didn't know why she was rubbing him with her feet and he didn't care, falling in bliss as the most beautiful woman in Mushroom Kingdom gave him the massage of his life.

So awesome! I love how the feet turn and move, with the toes wiggling. That goomba is adorable too.
