While stopping to do some research within a village, Danathius was overtaken by a mob of people who didn't take kindly to a strange wizard doing magic in their backwater town! He was set up as a sacrifice for a large, powerful dragon that had been terrorizing the countryside. Azerus, the ancient bloodscale, found Danathius tied up outside the small village and took it as an insult rather than an offering, and he made sure to raze the town and destroy all of its inhabitants. With a day of destruction done, the gargantuan dragon decided to take his little offering back to his lair and have some fun with poor, little Danathius...
At least Azerus is having fun!
