Wo Shin was born in Tientsin, which is in northern China, in 1916. When she was thirteen she and her family ended up living on the pirate haven and smuggler's emporium known as Krupmark Island, which like the nearby Spontoon Atoll is more tropical.
Living more than half her life in warmer temperatures, the red panda feels, has "thinned her blood," which means she feels the cold a bit more than you might think.
Which explains why she doesn't seem pleased at the idea of wearing a bikini in mid-November.
She does look pretty in it, though, don't you think? Sure, you really have to wonder where her weapons are (she generally carries between three and six, depending on her wardrobe).
