I thought this was an incredible shot, and I wanted to share.
I am a Polynesian dancer and I perform with Fire Poi. This performance didn't go so well...

There are 5 of us total in this picture, but you can't see any of the other girls but me. I'm at the end... with my head on fire.

I'm totally fine, I was out in 5 seconds due to safety precautions, but this shot was taken right as my poi wrapped around my bun and hit the side of my head, igniting the flower that I was (stupidly) wearing in my hair. The number went on and I came out at the end and danced with my instructor, showing the audience I was fine.

I can't wait to do this again!! But without the terror.

I think he said he took this with a 4 second exposure.
