Fascinating creature, this character! Are those feathers or fungiform structures on their back? I like that the suborder/family/species include muto/muta in them. Not sure how clean/SFW this question is, but is that flower-esque structure their reproductive anatomy? Love their eyes too!

That is their genitals, yeah! I hate that I'm really into anatomy but I'm pretty sex repulsed so it was a challenge to illustrate it whilst being obvious, but not sexualized?? I constantly draw naked characters because I grew up with nudity being normalised, but I keep not adding nipples or whatever because I learned the hard way that most people have had nudity normalized to = sex D:

Well, I've seen a great number of different designs in the fandom (love the variety!), so it wasn't too hard. (especially with the helpful crotch-arrow)

Cool! You did a good job illustrating it in a natural/clinical fashion! Yeah, I didn't grow up with nudity, but exposure to the fandom has made it so that I generally like seeing characters nude (both 'cause anatomy is COOL and I enjoy seeing how different artists handle sexual interaction, silly and/or sweet interactions being my favorites).
