The very first day, I didn’t know what to say, When you asked for me
I was still so confused, didn’t know what to do… But why you did it come to be?

Past the rants, I took a chance, My answer would be yes
Hoping to god, PRAYING to god… That this wouldn’t turn into a mess…

I’ve always wondered and doubted maybe it was all a mistake
So far I’ve been proven wrong, maybe it will be you I take…

Rebuilding off of what’s left of my old heart,
Making a foundation that wouldn’t tear us apart.

There was no honest love at the beginning, I am sorry to say…
But something about my heart has grown to you… So now I am here to stay
