Just a random thought that I kept on embellishing.

This is Massive Blubber. Yes, that's his given name. His parents had just emigrated to Canada while his mother was expecting, and were still learning English. They changed their family name, and even named their new son, after english words they liked the sound of, before doing all the research. Little did they know the name would fit!

Massive was an anomaly already, being born a Beartaur, but that didn't slow him down or even throw off his hardy parents. When his size and weight began ballooning, even beyond the calculations determined for a mix of the Bear and Tauric Creature templates, surprise settled in. Something in his mix of genes just have him a predisposition to being extremely fat. (A trait that would continue to a slightly lesser degree in his younger brother, Sirius, who some might now as the Chief of Fatter Forest on Terra de Titan.)

Now all Grown Up, but not all 'Grown Out', Massive's so massive he can't get around on his own. His magically inclined friends need to help with levitation or teleportation spells. He also needs spell or charm assistance to leave his Deep Arctic home; he's so powerfully insulated that temperatures like -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit) are slightly uncomfortably warm, and just Freezing temps (0 C or 32 F) leave him at risk for heat exhaustion or heat stroke! Without these protections, he's limited to anyone who can brave the Tundra to come visit.

Despite all this, he's not done. He'll continue to try to 'fill himself out'...even if he has to move to one of the poles to stay comfortable!

Though his size and insulation usually isolates him, he LOVES people. He loves company, and is playfully insistent with guests...his family taught him long before he grew that the best way to show you care about someone is to feed them, so if you wanna meet or visit Massive, bring an appetite!
