Awww, they're cute. ^_^ There's a mini-golf course near me with a koi pond, and I love how they'll come up and nibble at your finger if you put it on the surface of the water.

I've seen those at the zoo near me. There are so many near a bridge that sometimes one or two are pushed out of the water for a few seconds during a scramble for some food. Some of the ones there are also huge.

I cant for the life of me figure out why people would waste so much small change... or more precisely, why no one takes it... I mean, those are quarters in there.

FWIW, there was a sign on the hotel's koi 'trench' encouraging people to throw in coins, as they went to charity. (and the fish are smart enough not to eat 'em)
