This was an entry for a contest a friend of mine did - I actually won! aaah, did not expected that!!!

This is featuring Novas universe! An (feline+canine)anthro world, in which Nova is part of a "demon hunter group" called EQUINOX (some kind of MIB / SCP agency).
I got the original idea for this world through a dream and then started creating a story around that - years ago actually. lol

The problem for Novas world are these demons - these shadow beings do not belong in Novas world and obviously cause a lot of problems... There're more and more of them and EQUINOX is only capable of handling the ones in their own city, and surrounding areas. Their main goal is to find a way into the demons world and figure out how they manage it to break into their own, hopefully stopping them.
Pictured here is the whole "hunting" staff of EQUINOX.
Each team must have three members:

Agent: Responsible for tracking demons and capturing them, if possible.
Guardian: Responsible for guarding the Agent and documenting the demons type. Best fit for this role are strong critters.
Hunter: Must be capable of using light auras! Fights the demon and weakens it for capture.
This is EQUINOX weak point, being able to use light auras is not something that can be trained, it comes naturally. Therefore, right now they only have three teams, with Nova being the newest member. (though, the shown teams are this way months/years after Nova joined, so it would be already later in the story...)

Hunter: Cain Lakewhisker (male Yorkshire Terrier)
Agent: Luke Pebblepaw (male Siamese cat)
Guardian: Andreas (Andy) Flamefang (male lion)

Team Beta:
Second team at EQUINOX

Hunter: Rivah Windfur (female Snowleopard)
Agent: Viktor Leafnose (male, tiny, black&white cat)
Guardian: Aranaya (female ???)
Nella Thunderbite (female German Shepherd)

Team Gamma:
Third team at EQUINOX

Hunter: Nova Starsnow (female Wolf-Snowleopard)
Agent: Claus Heartfang, founding member, spent the first years studying the demons (male Schnauzer)
Guardian: Benjamin Stoneclaw (male Bernese Mountain Dog)

This fight they're joined by three Cursed Wolves who somehow used one of these portal things to break into their world. Can they contain the demon??
