Ever have anyone that changed your life? Even though it was slightly? Even a Major Change? Here’s my story about my time; with my friend Amber-
Now my story takes place in many occasions. And the first starts in English class a year or two ago… I walked into my English class; our teacher whom is Ms. Dvorak sat me down right in front of a girl- I knew her name, however I could not remember it. I sat down and was still; I knew one thing. She was my ex friend Brianna’s best friend.
I did turn though to talk to another friend -Kaitlyn- and saw Amber had looked at me once I spoken. I smiled softly at her; I was scared of her- deathly, deathly afraid of her. Surprised she smiled at me as well- my heart skipped a beat. I quickly turned away; too shocked to look back again. Class ended and I headed to my next class in silence.
The next day it happened again, as I sat down she smiled at me again. My eyes widened and I said hello. She spoke friendly and said hi back; then Kaitlyn said her name- Amber. So I finally knew her name again; I knew it started with an ‘A’ So I decided to introduce myself “ Do you remember me? I’m Cat” offering another smile. Oddly enough it was getting easier each time. She was so, different; happy everything about her radiated a certain happy glow and I couldn’t help but smile around her. “Psh- Yeah I remember you!” she seemed to laugh softly. I decided to chance it and asked quickly “I thought you HATED me” I said this assuming she didn’t at this very moment. She seemed to be in disbelief “I thought you HATED me “My heart pounded for a moment as she smiled. I close my eyes and turned I knew there was a friendship instantly formed. And I couldn’t have been happier. .
Being Amber’s friend has brought me nothing but happiness, laughs and much more. She’s showed me how to accept people; no matter how weird [or frightening] they can be. She accepted me even though- Brianna didn’t. And she’s been there for me when I’ve been down. If I wouldn’t have smiled at her that one day, I don’t think I would be the way I am today. She makes my day every time I see her. I don’t regret smiling at her that one day… No… not even in the slightest.
I'm posting this because I want Amber to see before everyone in our class.
Written in my American Lit Class To Talk about Something/Someone who changed you
I would of written about a online person but that wouldn't sound right now would it?
Besides Amber has this coming.
