Meet Chester von Bug, the Joltik. You can call him Chester for short. He hatched around the same time as dozens of his other siblings, deep within Chargestone Cave. He never really knew his parents, the pair of Joltiks leaving the children to fend for themselves. Chester would feed on some of the electric charge produced by the stones in the cave, with him and his brothers returning to their web each night to sleep. Every few weeks, one or two of the siblings would not make it back to the web. Chester just assumed his brothers and sisters had gotten lost... until he was the only one left. Alone, Chester made the difficult choice to leave Chargestone Cave, seeing sunlight for the first time in his life. He mostly kept himself hidden, not a hard task for someone of his size, but his curiosity often got the better of him. He tried to make friends, but most encounters usually resulted in someone being afraid of him or someone trying to attack him. At some point in time, Chester spent a few days in a toy store - and happened upon a tophat in a dollhouse that he quite liked. He wars it around with him wherever he goes, wanting to explore the world with his eyes... all four of them.
I adore gijinkas, but I realized that I did not have an actual Pokemon OC. So, I decided to commission one, and I am so oh so happy with how it turned out!
