The scent was a bit too floral to my liking, but I was hardly going to complain. It was certainly better than the last few hours... days... weeks? Whatever.
I was a bit confused, though. Wasn't I supposed to be a prisoner? Condemned to some horrible fate? Well, again, I wasn't about to complain. I'd just enjoy it until they realized they were giving the wrong person the royal treatment.
