This is an example of what the Niz Alien Life Form (Bio-Armor) looks like while it is merging with its "core". Since the Verans spliced their DNA into the Niz, it allows the Veran to become the Niz core. This opens a whole new realm of possibilities and evolutions. Ryker is just one of many Verans I've created and they're all unique. No two Verans and their Bio-Armor are alike.
