My thoughts on seeing this is Vera being a little tipsy and more affectionate giving the girls a the club "Mama bear kisses" that make Nightshade nervous.
That her kisses are so legendary that they leave you in a state of shock being the best kisser in the club. I am not sure, just a random thought.

i frankly wouldn't mind spending some time snuggled up with that pretty bear or kissing with her for that matter. But I don't like the idea of her husband being very cross with me about it. I'm willing to bet a sweetheart like her has a pretty big husband who doesn't take too kindly to somebody else getting close with her and I respect that . I could be wrong. I know there are some guys like to share their wives. Somehow I can't see him being the type. Couple of your girls from the personalities they have in the artwork. I really wouldn't mind having some one-on-one time not necessarily something sexul even something like a fireplace and a little bit of snuggling and some drinks. Some people mistake me for being a total ass and don't realize there's more to me area

Also, I was watching the "Berenstain Bears" series recently, so when I read her dialogue here, I had Berenstain's Mama Bear voice in my head. And it is oddly fitting & unfitting for some reason. XD
