honestly i thought of halo when i seen this only as a sphere and not a ring

Not going to lie. Halo did influence the idea for the story, but only the shield worked. <^\/^>

A Dyson Sphere world would make for a interesting story setting. Imagine looking up and seeing other landmasses and even oceans on the concave surface.

That's kind of the idea I had, but not quite Dyson sphere level, more of a shell world. However if you looked up in this world,(were it's more habitable that is) you'd see a massive desert, The Bright Sea. <^\/^>
