Salvia doesn't make it home to Northridge as much as she'd like nowadays, nor does it really rain much in California. Imagine her surprise when, during her most recent trip home, she had the opportunity to sit down in her old room and just listen to the raindrops plinking their irregular rhythm against the glass, watching them trace small rivulets down the pane.

The storm lasted a good few hours, and Salvia listened to every minute of it.
