3. redraw everything in colors (digital)
i will not continue the strips, but i will redraw everything in colors and maybe new sketches if the pic is to crappy. that would bring more comments and watchers i guess. if i did all of them i will continue the strips of course.

This is simple:
You should likely do new ones in color, and when you feel like it you can redo the old ones, such as when you are feeling uninspired or when you are bored.
You said that #3 gets you more comments and watchers, but I think doing them in color in general will cause this.
So I would say go with #2, while making #3 as you feel like it.

How about a mix?
Every fifth comic will be done in colors untill you get the hang of it, then you can look again in a month or two to see if you'd do everything in color.
Redrawing everything in color is a bad idea, it looks good now and we can see it as progression over time.
