This prompt was "marionette" for uuh goretober day 5 I think? And I figured it'd really fit my witch boy Colin given he's literally a doll (he used to be a human though) and also I wanted to use the ropes and the hangman's noose around his neck to symbolize the abuse he had to go through. He spent decades as the witch's servant after his mother was unable to pay for her medicine, and during this time the witch Katherine controlled what Colin could do and where he would go to. He had no control of his own life and could only do what Katherine told him to, although eventually he managed to practice enough magic in secret he eventually got rid of the witch.
