2018 is over for racing but pretty much already halfway prepared for the 2019 race season.
2019 however will be a season of change with a new factory team, new manufacturer, and a new car.
no longer will Shawn be with driving for or working with Ford Motor Company, he has left both the company and the team for disagreements regarding the blue oval's recent decision making, basically Ford recently made a decision to stop building sedans and compacts and defend their heavily, a decision he would've never made and argued against that decision to management.
after much debate both Shawn and chairman decided that maybe it was time for him to move on and so Shawn turned in his resignation after the 2018 season came to a close.
after ten years with Ford (July, 2008 - November, 2018) he has left and signed on with another manufacturer
as of now he has made a deal with the Volkswagen Group and has been assigned to work with Audi and has been signed on with Audi's factory team Audi Sport.
what will the future hold for this ambitious little skunk? no one not even him can be sure what the future will hold but he has high anticipation for a good season with the Auto Union and feels confident that he could have a successful season with them.
more pics may be coming soon so it won't just be another gloves pic like I did last time but I did this using my previous windows paint art piece I did "the Ford driving gloves" and basically just recolored it and added a new logo on it the glove using a free version of photoshop called GIMP, I even redraw the background too making it look like the gloves are sitting in the driver's seat of an Audi race car
