A few years ago I took Fenris (my wolf puppet) on a trip to Florida. When I take him to the Disney parks, it always makes the queues seem shorter, and attracts a lot of good natured attention - but this was quite unexpected.
Yes, that's a real tiger. Yes I was really happy there was a thick piece of glass between me and him. I've had a snow-leopard try and claw Fenris off my arm (yes, that also really happened!) and I have no desire to repeat the experience with an even larger cat.
Half a minute earlier said tiger had been lying behind the trees in the background. Then it spotted Fenris, bounded over and stood up on its hind legs to look down at me. And bare in mind, I'm over 6' and ground on the tiger side is slightly lower...
