I'm taking a short break from the comic pages, both because I need some variety and because I wanted to experiment some more with my more "painting-like" style. This was done roughly in the same way of the jaguar drawing I made some time ago, just on a smaller scale and a bit more rushed. Overall I'm having fun with this new method, and I'm liking the result!
Also, this was an opportunity to draw something different than the usual deserts and cities, and try to paint a more natural landscape. I plan to make three more drawings like this, one for each lynx species (because lynxes are awesome), but I'm not sure I'll manage.
Anyways, I hope you like it! ^^ If you have suggestions on how to improve this new technique, I'm all ears!

I can't really suggest specific techniques, but this picture looks a little flat. There's not much difference in colour and...tone? value? between the figure and the background. The trees do a good job of indicating scale and distance but you might want to do a bit of fade as things get further away.
I know that doesn't really capture the crisp brilliance of snowy mountains on a clear day, when even details quite far away can be vivid and distinct. Maybe try to distinguish the figure more?
I really like his fur texture, and the slight rolls of fat on his belly. Also the spear looks like something a stone-age person might actually make.
Lynxes' sideburns always make me think of Victorian gentlemen, though
