Hmmm....*looks at them real closely* I like both the Socks and Spotted Skunk patterns, but personally I like her original pattern. :) It holds a rather beautiful and exotic uniqueness.

Socks looks good, but the current is by far the best, has a great blend and space, the others seem too close together, or too far apart.

If you were going to change it, I'd go for the first one. The current one is still nicest, though!

I ended up keeping her current pattern. While she can change her fur color at will, she rarely does.

It's a high-tech body mod. Advanced furry species almost always develop some sort of mod (usually based on nanotechnology) that allows them to change their fur's insulation properties and color at will. It's an obvious quality of life thing. "It's super hot on this planet, there, my fur doesn't retain body heat any more." This lets them keep their (often thicker and prettier) winter fur year round.
