A followup to the Summer Kruse magazine cover. This time all the fake band names are my own creation, culled from a list I keep of all the times I've thought "that would be a good name for a band". Laserwort in particular might just be the best name for a heavy metal band that's never been used.

I learned a lot of new Photoshop techniques and cursewords trying to composite this dumb thing just right. Nobody would take Edge seriously as a rock magazine if there weren't just the right level of gratuitous grungy texture all over everything. And yes, they do take themselves 100% seriously, umlauts and all. Even so, I wish I were better at writing cover blurbs. And that I'd known that desaturating the picture would flatten the shading.
