I imagine Ember being a dominant partner, with Thorax sometimes appeasing her to make her happy again when she gets angry. When she cools down, she kisses and makes up, thanking her husband for being there to cheer her up. (If Thorax ever needs to, he can stand his ground. But he’d rather turn the other cheek whenever he can reasonably do so.)
