Old hunting rifle

This is the hunting rifle I use to use for hunting. I believe it’s a savage 99 my dad gave it to me as a birthday gift for my second or third year of hunting.

My dad took off the original to drill that pad on the butt of the stock.

The stock with all those patches of raw wood showing through matches the foregrip this has a complete finish

It’s just a hunting rifle don’t want to make it look all nice and then possibly mess it up while hunting.

classic savage lever gun. My place used to be dominated by Winchester 94s though.
