Patrick was a bit nervous going into Zootopia General Hospital; he had a yearly checkup that was due. Entering in, he walked to the door that had a specialized waiting room for folks who needed check ups. Patrick opened the door and moved the front desk window to let the nurses know that they were here for an appointment. He sat down and waited as other people were getting called up. It wasn't till he heard a voice say, "Patrick Nightwind?"
Patrick's ears flicked up and he turned to see a mouse in a dark blue nurse's uniform. He nodded and the nurse told him to follow her. She led Patrick to one of the rooms that had a bed (with the usual paper on top of it), the cabinets and table, a computer with a chair, and some magazines in a book holder. He sat down on the bed and talked to the nurse about any thing that changed such as his insurance or any new medication he was taking. After checking his blood pressure, she walked out saying his doctor would be in a few minutes. Patrick was thinking nervously whether or not he'd be getting the one thing he always dreaded to have done: a shot. He didn't like how the needle would piece him and such; it still made him a bit scared to this day. A knock was heard making Patrick lift his head to see his doctor. As the door opened, in came a very tall, fat, and wide blue spotted hyena in a nurse's uniform featuring a white shirt and green pants.
"Hello there Patrick! How are you doing sweetie?" said Razz as she moved up to hug her friend tightly. The wolf almost forgot his friend was his doctor! She insisted ever since they met each other in college that she could be his go to doctor for anything. Patrick was overall grateful that he could trust her as a doctor that was both smart and caring of her patients. Patrick returned the hug and said, "It's been going g-good Razz."
The blue hyena giggled and then said in her southern voice, "Well ah think your in need of a check up aren't cha?"
Patrick nodded and in the back of his mind prayed that he wouldn't get a shot this day.
"Well now lets see what we got here dear.....mind lifting your shirt up for me dear so I can listen to your heart beat?" Razz asked as she blew a hot breath on the round end of her stethoscope so that way it wasn't cold on the poor wolf's fur. He then slowly lifted his button shirt and Razz went to work checking his heartbeat. Patrick was trying to calmly breathe as the thought of getting a shot was making him nervous and heart beat faster. Razz could hear and sense he was nervous.
"Breathe dearie shhhh….." she said calmly in his ear. He did just that as his heart beat started to slow down gently. Razz kept saying the same thing over and over as she listened to his heart from front to back. Writing notes on her clipboard, she then checked his ears, his mouth and asked other things such as any aches or pains he's been having. Patrick responded to all with saying that his health was in great condition. The doctor nodded and smiled as was happy to hear and see he was fine. At that moment, Patrick thought, "Yes, I might not get a shot today!"
It wasn't until the mouse nurse entered back into the room with a rolling with a need and vaccination medicine that his heart started to beat fast. Razz then said, "You're great health from what you told me Patrick, but we want to give you a vaccination so that you don't get the flu! Okay?"
Patrick's face became very nervous as he saw the mouse nurse about to fill up the needle with the medicine when Razz told her, "Hey sweetie, let me make my friend a bit more calmer and comfortable..."
Razz stood up beside Patrick and then started to hear a gurgle from her as her belly started to push out under her white shirt. The wolf's eyes widened as he realized what she was doing in that moment. Of course, she was part berry and part hyena with the ability to swell up into one. Her body grew in width and height as it continued. After a few minutes, Razz was done swelling. The round doctor's outfit perfectly stretched around and held on; her boobs were pretty huge as well. Razz then started to waddle and then roll herself, with her bloated face up close to Patrick's. She said to the wolf, "Hey there sweetie, put your one arm right here to hug me."
Patrick nodded and then wrapped his arm as much as he could above her head to hug her. He closed his eyes as he laid his other for the nurse to give the shot. Razz nodded to the nurse as she put alcohol on the arm and then readied the needle to place the shot.
"Its okay Patty....I'm here with ya...." the blueberry doctor said soothingly as the shot was then inserted. Patrick whimpered a bit but it only took a few seconds. The nurse the put a bandaid
"All done!! Now that wasn't so bad hmmm?" smiled Razz as she nuzzled her nose into his cheek. Patrick nodded a bit and hugged Razz more. The doctor giggled as she then allowed him to hug her. After a minute, she then rolled herself back on her feet.
"Okay! You're all set Patrick! You have a good day okay? Give me a call so we can do something fun together!" she said she waddled out the door with him and waved goodbye to the wolf. Patrick waved back and blushed knowing that she was the most awesome doctor and friend to ever had.
