Luthien_Nightwolf draw this beautiful picture for me as a commission.

It shows Lina, my Panther Genie. Lina was "born" into slavery like nearly every genie, bound to her bottle, forced to obey the master of the bottle and grant him wishes. She hated being a slave, even if she was extremly powerful.

Then, about a few hundred years ago, her bottle somehow sunk into the mediterranean sea. There she stayed, at the seabed, trapped in her bottle and waited. And thought.

About 10 years ago she finaly managed to brake free from her slavery by giving up a big amount of her magical power. But she was finaly free.

Lina always loved to belly dance, so the first thing she did was to fly out of the sea, back to the middle east. There, in a hidden palace, she danced nearly a whole night in joy, shook her hips and filled the palace with her magical red smoke.
But she felt lonely....nobody was there. The ancient society she knew was gone, replaced by modern lifestyle.

Lina made herself invisible and travelled around...with no target location, just wandering and seeing the world.

Then, one day, she had a feeling...something pulling her toward a house. She gazed through the window...and smiled.
