Mamora was a Beast type Haniwa Phantom featured on Episode 5 of the Kotetsu Jeeg Anime, the Episode that also featured the introduction of the MechaDon 1. It was light brown and orange quadrupedal monster, closely resembling an armadillo, the head was armor plated, but had no eyes, and its mouth had to frontal fangs and two blades coming out of its side. Its most visible feature were the heavy armor Red shells that hang on the side of its body which were resistant to attack, and these had spikes that ran along the edges of the shells. Mamora would cocoon inside the shells and roll down on any opponent, burrow underground and could spew a net from its mouth.

In a reunion of the 3 Generals with their Queen, Himika makes the discovery of Sun Spots having burst, sending a Magnetic solar flare onto Earth, the effects of which will shutdown or effect any electronic and magnetic based machine on the planet – Jeeg included. Ikima volunteers and takes the Phantom Mamora for the mission.

Meanwhile Don and Pancho go on their antics to come on top of Hiroshi when they sneak on a Junkyard and try to steal broken cars for Don's Special Project, when they are captured by Harada, a man who went to the same Judo School as Hiroshi and was always defeated by him, something that he never let go. Don convinces Harada to help them beat Hiroshi, a long desire of his, and he challenges Hiroshi to a rematch the following day , only to lose it. Angry by this, Harada allows them to work on their Special Robot Project with all the resources at their disposal from his Junkyard, and the two proceed to work.

Not far, as the Magnetic Storm begins to hit the Earth's atmosphere, Ikima orders Mamora to be ready for its mission at the peak of the storm, Build Base detect the communication wave and Hiroshi and Michi go to investigate the area, which is Harada's Junkyard – Harada nearly challenges Hiroshi, when Mamora comes out of hiding and attacks, wounding Harada and forcing Hiroshi to transform and assemble Jeeg, but as soon he does he falls apart, the effects of the Magnetic storm reaching its peak. Mamora captures Jeeg's head on a net and roll away with it, Michi tries to stop it, but the Storm bust her system and crashes.

Back at Kurowashi Motors, Don unveils his completed Project to the audience, the MechaDon, and goes into action. He intercepts Mamora and blocks its path with one punch, bouncing it back. Mamora transforms and nets MechaDon, allowing to be distracted for Michi to fire missiles at it and release Jeeg's head, but the Fortress Orochi appears and steals it, Michi fires at it, releasing it, MechaDon capturing on time and attempts to escape, but is bashed by Mamora, who takes it back. In the Back and Forth, and the distraction caused by both Michi and MechaDon, the Magnetic storm passes, Jeeg frees itself and assemble up to fight Mamora. The Monster nets Jeeg, but this time he fully frees himself with Knuckles Punch and Michi launches the Mach Drills, Mamora tries to net Jeeg but gets lifted by him, and Jeeg takes the chance to dispatch the monster with the Drills.

After the ordeal, Harada gives more materials to Don to work it on his MechaDon, as long he promises to beat Hiroshi. Hiroshi appears and teases them as he continues on his way home, much to Don's annoyance.
