Just a quick reference piece for showcasing the 4 different finishes I usually do for traditional art. No digital editing included because that's always done on a case-by-case basis. Just drawn on lopsided, half-assed spheres just to show the difference between the finishes, without taking into account various details (like fur/scale definition, etc).
Quick explanation
1. Full shading no outline - The art piece is fully shaded in B&W with no outlines and smoothed coloration
2. High contrast with outline - The art piece only features 2 colors (light and dark) where dark areas are black and light areas have no shading. Outlines are typically included here.
3. Rough cross hatching with outlines - this is typically done on quick sketches or practice pieces where I use the full B&W color spectrum like finish 1, but just quick-n-dirty cross hatching. Used to give art depth but without putting too much focus on the finish of the piece. Outlines included pretty much always.
4. Lineart - Simple outlines and no shading; really only used for drawing emotes or other pieces that are going to be digitally colored (style 3 works here as well for a lighting guide).
