Old, oooold character of mine, making a comeback. I just had to draw something non-furry or work-related for an hour or so.
Demeter was the main character in a webcomic I published, called 'Tourniquet'. Trust me, no one's heard of it. But in any case. . . I missed him. So I drew him.
"Despite what your mother and father told you. . . words are not 'just words'. They have real, tangible power. That's part of why my powers were so important, and envied. We staunch the creativity of the righteous, and cripple free thought. We whisper brilliance to madmen, and poetry to prophets of ill-thought. Everything from the first time you took the Lord's name in vain. . . to the silver tongue which won a Tyrant his kingdom. We are there."

honestly. . . I cannot remember. It was SO long ago. I was just barely in my twenties, and I had a lot going on. I think I said that the comic was going on indefinite hiatus. . . but that's all I remember.
Also, it wasn't a very popular comic. . . I had SO few readers. I'm amazed anyone even remembers it.

A friend of mine introduced me to it not long before you stopped updating. Actually, I can't wait to tell her that a furry was the creator of it, since she's a former 4channer. It will blow her mind. Tourniquet was one of her favorite web comics (and mine) and she would go on and on about it. Yeah... I find it quite amusing that one of my most favorite artists on FA turns out to be the creator of one of my favorite webcomics.
I actually didn't even know Furry existed, at the time. I only got into the furry community about two years ago. It's really not odd if you think about it, though. . . Demeter was a demon who transformed into a large goat creature in his off-time, and I was obsessed with critter-people of all shapes and varieties. I just didn't realize there was a community specifically for anthros, at the time.
