Paiyin would grieve deeply though did not show it other than a shed tear or two as she stayed focused on herself and her first mates survival. They manage to make it to Booty Bay where they docked and stayed for the time being and in a safe place that the Alliance couldn't touch them. Her first mate comforted her as best he could and was able to return the Sun Star compass that Wily had taken, the sneaky rouge managed to swipe them back which Paiyin was very thankful for. They would talk for hours staying in the back of the Tavern when the decision was made that he would go his separate way..this was just too much for even him but the two parted ways on good terms. Paiyin was not upset with his decision and understood as she contemplated what she would do now that the cutthroat Barracuda were effectively eliminated except for her and a few stragglers. While she did not outwardly show her grieving she chose to try to drink her pain away at least for a little while that is until she was approached by another strange looking goblin that was sharply dressed. He had been watching them since they arrived and taken an interest in her. Paiyin of course was very cold and dismissive to the goblin and despite her snarling and threats he was persistent to talking to her. He made it clear he knew who she was and offered her an application to join The Crimson Caravan. At first she about spat in his face and shoved it back to him before he pointed out her Captain status and being the last captain she could either give up and rot or make her family proud by standing up and avenging them.



She would be hit hard by his words but it got through to her , she told him she would sleep on it and to sweeten the deal he would pay for her tab and get her a good meal room and even a new Captain's uniform to replace her tattered and blood stained one she had on. A few days later she sought out the same goblin who had been hovering around like a vulture. He knew she would come around as she turned in the application and would marvel in extracting revenge on the Alliance and most of all that gnome who had destroyed everything she had loved and cared for. The alliance had yet to see just how cruel and sadistic this sea predator could really be...............
