Another new song for my current project "Gifts of Gaia". This was a very random thing somewhat thrown together but the end result even surprised me. I almost didn't share this simply because I assumed most people would just hear "noise" and not music but i know there are others like myself who enjoy this type of thing and will be able to understand this song in their own way.
Still give me some criticism please, xD Good or bad, let me know what you like about it, how it made you feel, etc. I'm always wanting to know how my music hits people so please give me a word or two if you can. ;)
Oh and if you don't know what a fractal is this is taken from wikipedia's definition of a fractal.
"A rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole". In other words, beautiful shapes common in psychedelic or meditative states of mind.

I have to ask, what did you use to make these? I'd love to start making pieces as well, but trouble is i know almost nothing about music, i just love listening to it XD

Good 'ol garageband for mac, pretty decent software, and don't worry i know almost nothing about making music too, most of my stuff is actually improvised or re-improvised work after 2 or 3 tries on previous parts. If i get around to it i might be able to help you out; or at least find something to help ya.

AUGH! GARAGEBAND! I knew it! I used to have a Macbook pro ;.=.; had to give it back to the school i was attending because they kicked me out for missing too many days >:U

Thanks :D I was trying to go for that type of feel with that effect, like theres something chattering or giggling to itself somewhere; or perhaps a normal sound that the mind simply has a foreboding response to. I hope I gave a mysterious quality to it, thats definitely what I went for.
Oh, my lord... I can't totally describe what this does for me, but I can tell you it gave me goosebumps, and that's not very easy. I also got... A sense of... Melancholy? Yet somehow intertwined in it is a sense of a benign presence or more. Also, I agree with the factory feel. The silence is you moving from room to room and being greeted in several ways, yet all echoing the same...
I don't know. it's 4:24 a.m. and I'm tired, possibly rambling as well. I'll just end with this: This does for me some things I can't quite comprehend. I think it's deeper than intended.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I put a lot of things into my music that have that type of effect so if it goes deep then chances are that is half what I wanted. It is suppose to be neutral in feeling but capable of creating various sorts of emotions and feelings, leaving it up to the person hearing it to really decide how to experience it. Again, really good to hear you like it!
