A good mind is able to embrace a monster.
I started this painting last month with the goal of conveying an experience. It seems to have worked out well. This is a painting I look at differently than what I usually create. I like it. There’s more in this than just a basic idea floating in a void. I tried to work on all the parts to convey the same message and wanted nothing to be just there to be just a stage for something else. I hope this is enough to inspire thoughts in others too. (:

That's what I love about painting as well! There's always more to learn, together with the strive to realize ideas which pop up from various circumstances. The thought of being able to fully realize a concept, idea or composition just as it's envisioned is such a great source of motivation.
AAAHHHH this is sooo cool looking <3333
Gosh those glowing color aesthetics a just like.. OOMPH
I've really got to extend my appreciate for the clothing. The string'tied sleeves and the flounce skirt look super nice and add that special touch of authenticity

Thank you very much! I greatly appreciate your thoughtful and kind words! :D
I cherish your appreciation for the clothing. I tried to think of how those clothes work and noticed that the way I first drew it, it wouldn't hold up and it confused where the shoulders and arms where on the body. The strings made things work a lot better but now I look at it again and realize that I completely forgot to tighten up the sleeves around the laces. There's always something with those paintings you only notice after it's way to late to fix it. xP
