This is Context, aping a pose I used in a very very old avatar image of him.
I think I'm going to use this for Skype.
I had to drop the bright black eyes thing. It's cool, but it really only works for a few expressions. So much of emotion is built into the shape of the whites of the eye.
Anyhow, I'm off to bed.
PS: I totally used to put little black frames around everything.... god I was a pretentious twit.

Well, I like it. He's a cute little guy. The padding looks like he's ready for something bad to go down. Quite a nice looking head shape with it joining the body well. Very good eyes and ears. I dunno why you haven't gotten any comments on this before mine. His little feet work for his shape but seem a little too tiny to me. Left hand could be bigger to match the right hand better. The border... well, it works for this one but I don't think I want it on every picture I see :}
Thanks tannim!
Yay for critiques!
You are totally right about the hands, I should blow the one holding the microphone up a bit to match the other.
As for the feat... it seems to be this weird habit I've gotten into recently of drawing these tiny little triangular feet. Not an excuse exactly but something I should maybe watch in the future.
Frames CAN be good, but the excessive use of them is ridiculous.
