Something I made for a painting class a couple years ago. The scene is supposed to depict the moment when Adam comes to life on the sixth day in Genesis. The painting isn't exactly that good by my standards, but I'm proud of how I painted the sea stacks beneath God and Adam. The sea stacks are actually based off of one of the most famous images from the Hubble Space Telescope: clouds of dust in the Eagle Nebula that are known as "the Pillars of Creation"--I thought that their name would be a good connection to the event that is taking place here.
