Belle waddled into Zootopia General Hospital with a happy smile on her face. Her surrogacy of 5 little ones was going fantastic. Nothing but healthy on the outside and inside. This day she was getting an ultrasound since hitting half way mark of her pregnancy. Her green teal shirt couldn't cover all up all of her white and icy colored belly. Belle soon made it to the waiting room and within a minute, the nurse called her taking her back into a patient room. The nurse check Belle's vitals and made sure to keep the wolf comfortable. Once the nurse was gone, Belle took a moment sit on the bed that she placed in. Feeling the littles one kick, she smiled and thought of the wondrous work she was doing to help those who couldn't bare children at all. Every litter she carried meant so much to her, especially the one present inside her.
While in her moment, a knock at the door sprang her out of it as she looked up to see who was coming in. The voice then answered in a sweet southern accent, "Belle? I thought it might be you coming in to get this ultrasound..."
Belle immediately knew who that was as the door opened to reveal a tall, wide, fat, blue, and spotted hyena in nurse's clothing. The wolf squealed, "Doctor Razz! How are you?"
Razz giggled responding, "Oh Belle dearie, just call me Razz! You know I'm your friend after all!"
She moved up to the pregnant wolf giving her a gentle hug as gravid belly pressed against her.
"It's been awhile since I last saw ya.....looking beautiful as ever sweetie! How's police work handling you since you've gotten this big?" Razz asked.
Belle giggled saying, "Well one thing for certain I'm desk duty until these little ones are born. Don't get me wrong...I love to be out on the streets fighting crime. But sometimes I like to relax and destress when I'm doing on occasion."
Razz immediately helped lay Belle on her back. The wolf then lifter her shirt up to expose the rest of the large gravid belly. The doctor smiled and put a paw on Belle's tummy. "I've got to say, not a stretch mark in sight. You're the most healthy person I've ever seen while carrying a lot!"
The pregnant wolf beamed with a sweet smile whilst Razz put gel on her stomach. She squealed and giggled as the gel was cold while being applied. Razz then took time to put the stick that connected to the baby monitor as it was pressed on Belle's belly. The machine took its time reading and clearing a picture to show what the babies were looking like. A minute later, the machine showed a very clear picture of the 5 little ones floating perfectly.
"There they are sweetie! Its so great that you like seeing this huh?" Razz asked looking at the monitor. Belle nodded and blushed. "Yes I it is Razz....I love it so much. To know I'm taking care of someone's cherished beings and can carry it for them. Its a blessing to do such a service." The pregnant wolf put a hand on her belly as the little ones were calm and just resting inside.
Hearing this, the doctor looked back at her and smiled. Razz had known Belle for a good long time that she could be a perfect mother some time in the future. Belle was working two jobs she loved: police officer and surrogate mother. In her mind, it was a combo that was worth it overall.
