Murdoch is a guide to the dead, leading the recently deceased into the underworld. Unfortunately, this job doesn't pay much - the land of the dead isn't exactly wealthy. Still, a duty is a duty - even when sometimes that means he has to fight off demons who want to chew on the newly dead in pursuit of power.
