As they approached the proximity of the sich, Jerzy ordered 20 howitzers to shoot shrapnel at the poorly made fort. With an ugly grin and apple tobacco smoke pumping out of his nostrils he spoke.
“Ahhh back to the old days.”
He starved for it as his last years he spent pushing papers, the old bobcat felt alive again.
The second wave of bullets collapsed lesser structures, and with starved eyes, he looked at the falling town. His bad side needed it for a long time, much too long. The ruckus of shooting cannons did not move him as he watched with pride as the sich suffered.
