They met at a mining station as prisoners like many other winged creatures there, they were used as a tool to collect a hard-to-get valuable recource that could only be reached if you had wings. They came up with an escape plan and failed terribly but they managed to escape anyway, and since both kinda had nowhere to go they decided to stick together for a while. =D That's all I can tell for now
