Well... THIS sight is encouraging...

The Soul Eater has always been a bit weird and different to draw, and I think it's only about to get trickier. But on the other hand, it's kinda fun to draw something in a completely different style to make it look otherworldly and strange.
Yin is definitely one of the more fun character for me to draw simply because she oozes this sort of smug self-confidence about things. One of the details I had fun with is how she is sort of idly playing with the dagger she pulled from the Soul Eater even as she talks to Rohan.
My main hope with all of this is that I've been able to convey the sense of danger and apprehension in the scenes.

Hmm. You know, I think she's just trying to sway him toward that line of thinking to keep him in line with their plans. Granted, if bloodlust is a part of their nature, at least he can direct that bloodlust toward good ends, rather than bad ones. Plus, he's a newborn. It's only natural for him to have those tendencies as he adapts to his new form.
And it appears he's the only white Enyo that exists thus far. That must have some significance. Perhaps he is a light bringer amid the dark? Or perhaps he represents the conscience long since lost to the other Enyos. Then again, we've seen in that one comic that there are other Istrala who are also neutral and kind. There must be something else going on. I still think he has potential and some significance. It's possible he may be able to sway the other Istrala to develop consciences rather than getting caught in a group bloodlust.
Y'know, if there's always a choice, that just makes the shit they're doing even worse. Like, it's either they have an insatiable bloodlust to kill, or they are actively choosing to kill people. And judging by what she said, it's very much the latter situation going on here.
She sucks.
She sucks.
Being a natural hunter. Siccing an amorphous blob of darkness to suck out people's souls.
In what god forsaken world are these two things at all related. We know that Istrala are generally highly emotional creatures, so I have no reason to believe that Rohan's current state of mind is related to the fact that he hasn't killed anything but a deer or two. If he was really that broken minded, would he have been able to save the girl and send her and her sister away?

"'You demons.' Heh... I don't know you noticed, but you're one of us now. You are a part of this as well."
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I have to be a bad guy like you! I can still try to find a way to find peace and help others like this!"
"That's... dude that's a little too far ahead of you to be thinking like that now, especially this early in the story. Stick to the 'I'm not used to this body' script alright."

its posible to do both...by denying his baser instincts he likely will loose easy access to the powers that come with his form....think like a jedi trying to use sith powers...they can technicly do it, but because of how much of a strain it puts on them to stay in the lightside but draw from the dark it takes far more focus and energy then useing a light side power
