Zoroark Scolding a Once Giant Weavile For Teasing Littles
So like we saw in an earlier picture, Atvraae enjoys messing with littles when she is large, though she would never actually intentionally harm anyone
Kyth (the Zoroark) has taken it upon herself to act as a protector of the littles now that there are several unusually large Pokemon wandering around, so when she saw Atvraae teasing a city, Kyth dunked Atvraae in a nearby lake and learned that normal water makes her shrink.
Kyth has now shrunk Atvraae down to just around an inch and also shrunk herself down to her original size (with a great deal of effort) in order to emphasize her point about not messing with those who can't grow.
Kyth's probably going to dunk Atvraae in the water just long enough to shrink her down to about a centimeter, stick her in a safe spot, and bring her back to that mountain lake with the weird iceberg which contaminates water in such a way that it makes her grow when she drinks (Why? Because it does).

I guess you could say all water is magic shrinking water for Atvraae.
Though that makes me realize that none of my characters actually has the ability to change the size of others (not counting larger characters forcing Atvraae to drink normal water)...
I've been thinking of adding another to my cast of unusually large Pokemon, and that could be a fun idea to apply to him/her.

Funnily enough, the next one I'm considering actually is a water type. Though the ones I'm considering are Buizel, Floatzel, or Lapras.
The tough part is going to be figuring out what his/her growth and shrink triggers will be (and how he/she will be able to affect the size of others).
Also need a name...

Wow. There are only 7 macro Lapras pictures on all of FA.
True there aren't that many Popplio either, but I have to admit that Popplio isn't really a favorite of mine. Nothing against it's design, just isn't my cup of tea.
Now as for development of the character? Biggest things are coming up with the growth and shrink triggers, the max size, the cause of her growth (if I'm going Lapras, it will be a female), and how she is able to effect the size of others.
I'm liking that idea that her singing can change the size of those who hear it... And maybe personality-wise she could be the kind of person that sings and hums without thinking about it while she's doing other things, thus accidentally changing the size of others.
Of course then there's the question of what kind of singing/humming results in growth and what results in shrinking.
Also thinking that whatever it is that gives her her size changing ability and markings (also need to come up with what those would be) also allows her to take on an anthro form when she's on land (but then she always becomes a normal Lapras when she gets back in water.
Any thoughts on any of those anyone?

Hmmm... For her to shrink only if she's sad, scared, or nervous? Not sure I want to always have to make her sad to get back to a normal size.
But for growing I do like the idea if it happens when she's happy or embarrassed (and because of that wonderful feedback of embarrassment causing growth causing more embarrassment that causes more growth). So happiness and embarrassment make her grow, and I think shrinking will simply be a matter of concentrating on shrinking herself down.
Now for the singing that makes others shrink and grow... The octave of the notes could certainly be a good one to go for. I had at first been considering tempo where slow tempo makes others grow while fast tempos make them shrink, but I think I like that octave level idea better.

Interestingly, the water changed by the odd iceberg only affects Atvraae. For anybody else it's still just normal water.
Not sure if I'm going to draw this event, but Kyth takes Atvraae back to that mountain lake and it's strange, red iceberg shortly after this picture. After watching Atvraae grow from drinking the water and then trying some herself and finding that she doesn't grow, Kyth is going to make the connection that any water touched by the iceberg (that's not exactly an iceberg but seems like one) will turn said water into the kind that makes Atvraae grow.
Kyth is an accomplished jeweler and watching her hair beads grow with her has given her an understanding of how to craft jewelry that changes to match the size of it's wearer, so she decides to make a necklace for Atvraae with that iceberg as it's centerpiece. This way, Atvraae will be able to change water and grow whenever she needs to, though with the understanding that she won't terrorize littles anymore.
