So this is something a little different.
For my modern story arc in the Ephalon universe there's a massive pharmaceuticals company called Redstar. They own around 80% of global market share. It's so big in fact, that global wide laws had to be established to prevent them from buying out any further competition.

Their products are available in all local pharmacies, supermarkets and stores. You'll never be more than a few shops away from your precious pain relief! :-D

Redstar has various research centers focused on DNA sequencing. Most recently, there's been a growing interest in hybrid research, specifically of which DNA sequences actually cause the different physical traits when compared to regular humans. They hope the research will lead them to find miracle cures for the more widespread diseases and afflictions; for instance, the common cold!

And we can't forget that endearing company motto!
