It's nice to see that it's not just going to float there until page 200. I suppose that I should have expected that, seeing as we all have the same reason for being drawn to these things.
I'd think that there'd be a good deal of incentive in such a setting to develop ways to spy on things at long distances, which (taking this comic as if it were real and had to have an answer to such things) would obviously be enough to see this if you had enough detail to see buildings, etc. Of course, it's not like that's something any of them would easily share, either.

Oh they'd certainly be able to make it out, but they'd need their telescopes/sensors/etc to be in a star system near enough to this one (Levkyr) that the light from this star and the image of this unusually large Kyrathane would have managed to reach the telescope.
Now comparing the map I made a-while back (page 7) and the Milky Way and trying to use that to guess how many light years separate this system and the edge of Ristarin territory, I'd say that the very edge of Ristarin territory is just within 15k light years of Levkyr, so they could see it, but they'd also need to know what star to look at, which they shouldn't because the Kyrathane government tries very hard to keep it's exact location and even existence a secret.
