Ahhh thank you so, so much! ;u; I really love painting environments like these.
YCH's are fantastic in particular for me because I can explore worlds from my own mind and imagination, and I'm usually able to spend as much time on them as I need to get them looking how I envisioned.

Wow, thank you. You know painting snow is one of my favorite things. The way light plays with every little flake is so much fun to experiment with.
It's really nice to get comments like these from someone who has been watching my development for all these years. Kinda makes me wonder about deviantart sometimes... Are you still on there? The site looks completely different now. Much better imo, similar to art station.

I feel you there- Winters here are pretty brutal, but definitely a sight to see, especially when the great lakes completely freeze over. That said, I'm not spending another winter here. Experienced it a couple of times, but it's down to FL with me this time, haha.
Oh dang, sounds like dA is kinda dead then..? I mean I got the impression that it was going downhill when I left all those years ago but I thought it might have recovered a bit since. Such a shame. I feel like as artists we don't have any super ideal options. I *did* love the group system on there. It allowed smaller artists like myself to reach a wider audience, which is something all the other platforms severely lack, I believe.
At any rate, it's nice to be back in touch with you. I hope you enjoy your stay here. :)

Valid, haha! Wish I could just go down south for the winter too; but alas, there will be driveways to shovel and cars to de-ice! XD Granted, the humidity in Florida would kill me. :'D
I don't think it's super duper dead overall, but by the time I left, many artists, fan or not, were moving to Twitter and tumblr. For reasons unknown, I don't like either of those sites for posting art. D: And yeah, groups are a nice function. ;w;
