So continuing on with my Care Bear fanaticism, I got this neat little pic from  Aldo5037 It features Digitz in the middle with Tenderheart Bear on the left and Good Luck Bear on the right.


Aldo isn't a babyfur artist, and I know a lot of my watchers enjoy babyfur/cub art the most. However, I really like this picture a lot. It's very simple and yet really grabs something that's at the heart of my love of Care Bears.


And that's the idea of them all being so supportive and loving with one another. I really like the idea of my character being an actual part of the Care Bear Family.


What's really neat about this pic is how the characters are in Aldo's style, so they don't look QUITE like the Nelvana Care Bears. So they have a uniqueness to them, and for me, that uniqueness makes them look particularly COOL. As much as I adore the overall sweetness of the Care Bears and love to encapsulate that in pictures...I also really like hte idea of them being both loving but COOL. And that's what this pic does so well.


I think that's particularly true for Tenderheart. He looks super friendly, but in kind of a cool big bro way. And that's something I"ve always loved in pics.

But the sunglasses that all of them are wearing are also great. I love the way Aldo drew them...I like how they're heart shaped like all Care Bear sunglasses, but the black trim and blue shades made them look so cool, almost like pilot goggles.


And I LOVE this pose so much. There's just something about Tenderheart and Good Luck Bear's lean that is so awesome to me. It really just grabs a sense of closeness and friendship to me....it really makes me feel like my character belongs with them.


So again, this one is simple, but I love it a lot. I have a few more cubby pics on tap, but I think in the spring I'm going to be getting some more pics like this.
