Just colored up. Trying to finish up a bunch of these sketches i've done, that, and a warm up I suppose.
Colors were random...all though the markings in the feathers I based on some birds in one of my big animal books.
As I was messing around with this, gave me ideas on how their colors work as young...Tyrant whelps come in a varying degrees of grays and greens but as they age the actual colors come out which can be extra vibrant or continue to be dull. Males normally are much brighter though. Sometimes there are hints in the young at the color, but this little guy is pretty normal.
He is very intent...and quite fluffy. Like a velveteen goose down covered fluff ball.
