First off, this and the previous part were written as a way to honour this fabulous film-based birthday gift: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29387120/ <3

A recap:
Ames Sond, agent 00S, was in Haiti on the tail of a mysterious serpent named Slate, who seemingly had ties to the elusive Mr White. - But it became necessary to kill Slate, lest the other naga kill Sond first.
A case of mistaken identity followed, a pair of dragonfolk arriving to meet the now dead snake. They assumed Ames Sond was Slate, and rushed off with him in tow.
As it turned out, the recently killed Slate was not who the drakes wanted to see, but an assassin sent to kill the two dragons, which put Sond and the semi-red-scaled pair at odds.
To be targeted like this, the dragons must be into something deep, and Sond needs to find out what, and what it might have to do with the organization that tried to kill him and his commanding officer, M - just one day prior.
~
The adventure in Haiti is over at the end of this submission, but of course there is much more to this case to be seen.

I have to give all credit to Amaranth [who you know as WhiteMantis] for coming up with Greene as a flamingo. We re-watched QoS together to see if it was viable to replace Camille with the dragon twins, and she happened to come up with Dominic as the pink fowl, somehow. I can't remember if she said it was because of his interest in stealing water, or if she happened to think of the bird because of Greene's physicality, and I said 'oh and yes, it fits extra well because of his scheme to steal/control water!'
Anyway, thank you for reading and commenting! :}===<

Even though this was just a fraction, it felt like it was a quite a bit of the film! The action is great and coherent despite all of what is going on! Fantastic.
The interaction between Indrys and Dominic is great. I especially like the choice of flamingo, those sinister pink water fowl. Also, I really liked how the twins weaved in together with one another, with Vygo coming in so Sond isn't the only one trying to rescue Indrys.
Such attention to detail with these Sond works.

Thanks for the fave, and for the comment. :>
Yes, having two characters replacing just one from the source material was a fun challenge!
Amaranth was the one who suggested a flamingo. We felt like the point of Dominic Greene was to have a seemingly normal guy who looked like something mundane - a middle manager or somesuch - but who was actually quite a heinous villain. Having him be a seemingly spindly, slight-bodied, bright coloured anthro makes him seem as non-threatening as a nebbish-looking human.
Also, his front is an eco-protective organization, 'Greene Planet', so it seemed fitting to have him be an animal one can imagine as the sort of creature that would benefit from saving vulnerable biomes, like wetlands.

I'm glad the action made sense and felt good! :}===<

Ah, all that about a flamingo. It's really fitting and clever when one breaks it down into parts. I find them sort of regal despite the pink-- or perhaps because of it!-- there's something about it that makes it befitting to a deceptive villain character as well, like you said: 'nebbish'. I find that alien mystique of avians in general is attractive as well. Whatever the case, the choice of a flamingo villain is charming! Props to Ama for suggesting it. :)
