So, it's been a minute since we had a comic of Caleb and Sandra being fat and happy together, hasn't it? Thankfully I had the good luck to be able to commission
squeakie once again to draw these two together in a scenario that I've felt inspired to do for some time, and one that I hope proves a holiday treat for fans of these two.
The holidays are a busy time at the Foxwood Inn, full of preparation and anticipation for guests and friends arriving, looking to fill their bellies and spend the time in good company. With the halls all decked, Caleb and Sandra take the opportunity to enjoy some snuggly alone time. Between the two of them, they've finished off a banquet that might satisfy a whole table full of ordinary guests, leaving the duo too good and comfortably stuffed to do much more than Netflix holiday movies and chill. It doesn't take long in that state for a fine food coma to set in, though as Sandra suggests they retire to their bed for the night, getting Caleb's stuffed middle to budge from the couch proves to take a bit more energy than the fox is willing to exert. Not being one to wish her bountiful boyfriend to sacrifice the calories he'd done such a fine job of storing away, Sandra helps him out of his shirt, and with a tender kiss, reluctantly leaves him to beach himself on the living room couch for the night.
I've always been flattered and pleasantly surprised every time someone mentions what a positive influence these two have had on their introduction to the fandom, or sometimes on the design of characters of their own, so for all you fans of Caleb and Sandra (watchers are welcome to reply as well!) for as long as these two have been around (a little over a decade since my first submission here). I was curious; what was your first introduction to these two, and have they had some influence on you, your characters, or artwork?
Again, all of the kudos to
squeakie for another delightful commission, so stay tuned, I'll be posting the rest of the comic each evening up through Friday!

my first introduction to Sandra and Caleb was through Squeakie's art, specifically this sequence http://www.furaffinity.net/view/29582225/ I would say that was when I really started to appreciate fat furs and furry art in general, What amazes me a bit was that sequence came out the SAME year I learned of furries, so it was among the first pieces of art i had seen
Sakes, it's been so long I can't remember which sequence it was -- they're all so great! It was definitely Squeakie's work, though, that's unforgettable. Of course, I was a fan of fat furst even before I found them, so I can't say they've had much impact on me -- but they're still loads of fun!
Thank you, Wanderer, and I certainly know how long you've been a part of the fat furs crowd, probably back before my college days in joining the Fat Furs Mailing list, if my memory serves me right! Happy to hear you're enjoying them, and you're right- Squeakie's artwork definitely captures what I love about plumpness and round bellies so very well!
Funny enough, these two really introduce me to the whole quality weight gain comics when I first heard Squeakie (or DuoRadon, that's how I way back I known the artist before long) and seen them for the first time. Since then, they technically did influence me on enjoying this kind of stuff. Still, I love these two. They are definitely have been a very healthy couple over the years.
