This is one of my favourite things that I ever made despite how old it is, spent quite a while on it at the time and I've made little improvements to it over time. To make it I followed this ridiculous process:
1. Traditional sketch
2. Scanned and uploaded to PC
3. Converted to .TIFF file and uploaded to my Kindle Fire HD that I haven't used for anything but Sketchbook Pro to this day
4. Traced the lines in a separate layer in Sketchbook Pro
5. Copied it back to my PC in separate layers
6. Did colours and shading in Paint.NET
7. Added back in the sketch from step 2 to add a little grainyness or whatever
8. Added a half-assed background

These days I can see numerous flaws in it and sloppy or rough areas, but to this day I've never been able to recreate what I see as a perfect balance of facial features (although the right eye is a bit wonky). The shading is still off in places and the chest is kind of meh and obviously I used the sketch to hide the lack of detail in it.
Regardless it still works well as a profile pic or viewed from a distance without paying too much attention to detail.
